Phone companion
Looking for the iPhone app? See Rig for iPhone. It works from anywhere and pairs from Devices → Pair iPhone. This page is about the older phone companion: a simple web page on your local network for start, stop and status from any phone on the same Wi‑Fi, with no app and no account.
Start companion
- In Rig, open Settings → Phone companion.
- Start the companion server and show the QR.
- Scan from your phone (same LAN).
- Use the token-protected UI for the actions you enabled.
Security notes
- Companion is for trusted local networks.
- Regenerate the token if you shared a screenshot of the QR widely.
- Stop the companion when you are done for the day.
For remote clients who only need to view the app, use Live Link instead.
