Connect LM Studio
Attach LM Studio to Rig's MCP hub for tool calls.
Steps
- Open Connections in Rig and start the MCP hub.
- Copy Rig URL + token from the generic MCP snippet.
- In LM Studio, add a custom MCP/tool server named
rig. - Use a model with tool/function calling enabled, then test with project status.
Note
Rig MCP is localhost HTTP; LM Studio and Rig must run on the same Mac.
