Connect Cursor

One-click MCP link for Cursor.

Steps

1. Open Connections in Rig and start the MCP hub.
2. Choose Cursor and click Link.
3. Approve Cursor’s MCP install prompt if it appears.
4. Open the same folder in Cursor that you added in Rig.
5. Ask it to list Rig projects or check project status.

Config path

User scope: ~/.cursor/mcp.json. Project scope: .cursor/mcp.json.

Stay glued

Always pass project_id (or use project scope) so open_url hits the right localhost.
