Connect Codex

OpenAI Codex via Rig MCP.

Steps

1. Open Connections in Rig and start the MCP hub.
2. Choose Codex / ChatGPT and click Link.
3. Restart your Codex session and run its MCP list command.
4. Confirm rig appears and test with project status.

Config path

~/.codex/config.toml (or .codex/config.toml for project scope).

Scope

Prefer project-scoped sessions when jumping between apps.
