What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is how an AI editor talks to tools. In Rig, those tools are your live local runtime: processes, ports, logs, and restarts. The alternative is pasting shell commands, which is a trust fall. Rig's hub stays on your Mac, uses a scoped token, and lets you limit an agent to read-only if you want.
