What ACP is in Rig
Agent Client Protocol is how an editor talks to a coding agent over JSON-RPC. Rig’s cloud ACP agent answers fleet questions — status, devices, Mesh, tickets — and is not a substitute for a coding agent. MCP is agent ↔ tools on your Mac. You can use both: ACP in Zed for Rig Cloud, MCP in Cursor for local projects.
