Register Rig Cloud as an ACP agent in Zed, then open a thread.
Add under Zed settings (path to the repo must be absolute on your Mac):
Use Zed’s ACP logs action if the agent does not appear — confirm npx and the path are on your PATH.
- Zed with ACP / agent servers support
- Rig monorepo checked out (or a packaged ACP binary later)
- Optional: Rig developer token (RIG_TOKEN) for devices / Mesh / tickets
- Open Zed settings and find agent_servers.
- Add a server named Rig Cloud with{" "} command: npx, args{" "} tsx + …/apps/acp/src/index.ts.
- Env: ACP_MODE=stdio,{" "} API_BASE=https://api.userig.app, and{" "} RIG_TOKEN from{" "} Account → Security → Developer tokens .
- Open the Agent panel → New Rig Cloud thread.
- Ask “help”, then “status” or “list my devices”.
